The Netgear ReadyNAS 626X is a 6-bay high-end, high performance NAS with Intel® Xeon® Server Processor D1521 quad-core 2.4GHz and two built-in 10 Gigabit Ethernet ports for scaling VMs and clients, and two 1GBase-T ports. The Ethernet ports can also be set to operate as a trunk in link aggregation mode with 10G switches. The 626X is suitable as a professional desktop NAS systems for small and medium enterprises with 40 – 120 employees. The 626X is has 8GB DDR4 ECC RAM memory expandable to 64GB. The NAS provides up to 60TB of storage capacity and can be expanded up to 110TB with EDA500 expansion unit via the eSATA expansion port. The 626X has 3 USB 3.0 ports, 1 in the front and 2 on the back of the device.
ReadyNAS with 5 levels of data protection protects the data against human error, destructive events and silent data corruption. The "ReadyCLOUD" personal cloud makes sharing and synchronizing files easy. With the ReadyNAS OS files can be shared and synchronized and protected by real-time anti-virus, bitrot protection against media degradation and RAID protect against disk failure.
