The RS408 has a 800MHz CPU and 512MB ram and space for 2 SATA hard drives.

• iTunes Server - Share your music for iTunes
• UPnP server - Share your media with compatible media adapters
• Web Station - The Synology has a built-in webserver to host your website.
• PHP/MySQL - The webserver has PHP and MySQL capabilities
• Download Station - Let the Synology download for you using HTTP, FTP or Bittorren.
• ADS support - Use the Synology in a Windows Active Directory.
