The Ubiquiti UAP AC Pro supports the latest 802.11ac MIMO technology. The access point works simultaneously on the 2.4 and 5 GHz frequency and achieves a maximum throughput of 1300 Mbps. Thanks to the weatherproof housing, the UAP AC Pro is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.
The Ubiquiti UAP AC Pro uses both the 2.4 Ghz and the 5 Ghz Wi-Fi frequency and can transmit simultaneously on both frequencies. The advantage of this is that the connections are distributed over 2 frequencies, which reduces the load on the network. This way you can give multiple devices access at the same time. At 2.4 Ghz the UAP AC Pro achieves a speed of up to 450 Mbps and at 5 Ghz it is up to 1300 Mbps. The transmission power is 22 dBm (158 mW) and the maximum range is 183 meters under the most ideal conditions.
Weatherproof housing
The device has a weatherproof housing and can be used both indoors and outdoors.
Power over Ethernet
The Ubiquiti UAP AC Pro supports Power over Ethernet 802.3af and 802.3at. The access point can be directly fed via the network cable with the supplied 48V PoE injector. However, if you use multiple access points, you can connect them to a switch that supports 802.3af and 802.3at.
Ceiling or wall mounting
The Ubiquiti UniFi Access Point Pro has a smoke detector design and can be placed unobtrusively on the ceiling or on the wall. You connect the Ubiquiti UniFi to your router and run the software to start the installation. The access point can then be managed and installed via Ubiquiti's free controller software. The software is suitable for both windows and mac.
Free management software
With the UniFi controller software you manage the Ubiquiti UAP AC Pro and you can develop your own captive portal. This way you can quickly create your own login portal in HTML or via PHP (via external portal) with your company logo and your own corporate identity. The great advantage of the software is that it makes installation of the access point a lot easier for people with little technical knowledge. The software detects all access points in the network and enables central management.
Seamless roaming
The access points of Ubiquiti support fast roaming between the access points but no seamless roaming.
