The QVP-63A QVR Pro is a network surveillance server that supports real-time video/audio surveillance, high-resolution recording and multiple IP camera display. Users can easily monitor cameras from different platforms (Windows®, Mac® and mobile devices), making it easier for businesses, offices and home users to protect their work environment.
In a conventional NAS-based surveillance system, surveillance is just one of many applications available to users. Since all of these applications must share NAS system resources and storage space, it can affect monitoring performance. The QVP-63A QVR Pro Appliance overcomes this by providing dedicated storage space and reserving full system resources for surveillance, delivering the best performance to meet the demands of professional surveillance systems. The QVP-63A also comes with built-in camera channel licenses and essential applications to enable local installation without the need for an internet connection. Install the hard drives and start the QVP-63A to start the installation process.
Extensive camera support and management
The QVP-63A supports thousands of camera models from over 150 brands with a variety of image formats (including cameras using ONVIF and RTSP / HTTP streaming). Even USB webcams are supported, allowing home and budget-conscious users to quickly build surveillance solutions tailored to their environment, while providing easy camera management.
Motion detection with budget-friendly cameras
Standard surveillance systems usually only support event recording and reporting for expensive cameras with integrated motion detection. The QVP-63A offers motion detection even for entry-level cameras and USB webcams. As long as your camera can stream its footage to the QVR Pro Appliance (e.g. via the RTSP protocol), it supports motion detection, so you can build a budget-friendly motion detection system.
QVR Pro Client
The QVR Pro Client client software runs on Windows and Mac devices, allowing you to monitor from different platforms and flexibly switch between live view and playback mode to gain full control over monitored areas.
Easily monitor remotely with the QVR Pro Client mobile app
The QVR Pro Client mobile app allows you to remotely monitor multiple channels at the same time. If the network connection is slow or has metered / limited volume, you can choose the limited bandwidth mode to watch a bandwidth optimized stream without affecting the quality of the recordings themselves. In addition, you can remotely set the camera preset point or control the PTZ cameras in the app.
