If you want to monitor an outdoor environment, such as a driveway or garden, the Hikvision DS-2CD2386G2-I is a suitable camera. The varifocal outdoor camera provides clear 8MP (3840 x 2160p) images on which you can clearly see what is happening. In the dark, the infrared light ensures that the camera has a good view of up to 30 meters. The camera has various techniques for image optimization, such as 3D DNR and WDR, in which over- and under-exposure are reduced.
Behavioral Analysis and Detection Features
In addition to producing surveillance images, the Hikvision DS-2CD2386G2-I also applies detection functions, such as line crossing and intruder detection. Mark a specific zone on the screen and receive a notification when someone enters or leaves this zone. These functions are not only useful for monitoring purposes, but also interesting for example to analyze customer behavior in a Retail environment. The false alarm filter (AcuSense) prevents the alarm from being triggered by, for example, leaves or rain.
Save recordings or view live

If you want to use the camera for real-time security, you can view the images live via the stream on the Hikvision app or via the Hikvision camera software.
