Productinformatie

Expand your network with the TP-Link TL-SG2008P, an advanced Gigabit switch with 8 Gigabit LAN ports, 4 of which with PoE+. With a total PoE power of 62 Watts, you can power multiple devices. Ideal for networks with heavy use of PoE equipment such as access points, IP cameras or VoIP telephones.

Management via Omada SDN Cloud portal
The Omada SDN Cloud portal makes it easy to manage the TP-Link TL-SG2008P remotely. If you also use other equipment with Omada SDN support, you can manage your entire network via this platform. Via one clear dashboard you have insight into the status of the network and you can, among other things, change settings and detect problems. Because management can be performed from different locations via the cloud, this saves a lot of time and costs.

L2 functionalities
This switch from TP-Link supports numerous L2 functionalities, including 802.1Q tag VLAN, Port Isolation, Port Mirroring and 802.3 Flow Control. There are also functions to maintain the network, such as Loop Back Detection and IGMP Snooping. IGMP snooping ensures that a multicast stream is only forwarded to the correct devices. With IGMP throttling and filtering you prevent the stream from going to unauthorized devices, which you can easily set per port.

Comprehensive network security
With the TP-Link TL-SG2008P, your network is extremely secure. For example, the switch applies functions such as IP-MAC Port Binding, Port Security and DHCP Snooping. The Access Control Lists (ACL, L2 to L4) feature protects your network data by blocking packets based on MAC address, IP address, TCP/UDP ports and VLAN ID. In addition, the switch supports 802.1X, which identifies network users through remote Radius servers. With the guest VLAN feature, non-802.1X users cannot enter the general network and can only access the guest network.

Quality of Service (QoS)
When the network is used intensively, slow-loading videos or stuttering phone calls are the last thing you need. To prevent this, the TP-Link TL-SG2008P has Quality of Service (QoS) functionality. This means that you can specifically indicate which type of data traffic (for example, voice and video applications) always has priority over other traffic. For example, the other internet traffic will not affect this, even when the network is heavily loaded.
