Productinformatie

The TP-Link EAP265 HD dual-band access point provides an excellent WiFi signal in every corner of the room. The powerful antennas provide a wide coverage, while the MU-MIMO technology offers a high network capacity for a large number of wireless clients. The TP-Link EAP265 is therefore suitable for business environments where a reliable connection is indispensable. Users enjoy throughput speeds of up to 450Mbps on 2.4GHz and 1300Mbps on 5GHz.

Mesh support
This TP-Link access point offers WiFi mesh support. If you connect at least one access point to your network by wire, you can wirelessly connect your other TP-Link access points with mesh support. Ideal for environments where it is not possible to connect an access point wired at every point. Both the TP-Link EAP245, EAP225, EAP225-Outdoor and EAP265 HD can be combined to form a wireless network with seamless WiFi coverage.

Advanced Features
To provide all network users with a perfect WiFi connection, the TP-Link EAP265 HD makes efficient use of the network. One of these features is band steering, which automatically sends dual-band devices to the faster 5GHz frequency band. The load balancing function ensures that the clients are well distributed over both the 2.4GHz and 5GHz frequencies. These techniques prevent faster devices from being limited in their speed by slow equipment.

Management via Omada SDN Cloud portal
The Omada SDN Cloud portal makes it easy to manage the TP-Link EAP265 remotely. Via one clear dashboard you have insight into the status of the network and you can, among other things, change settings and detect problems. Because the network can be managed from different locations via the cloud, this saves a lot of time and costs. If you also use TP-Link switches and gateways with Omada SDN support, you can manage your entire network via this platform.

Guest network
If you also want to give customers or visitors access to WiFi, you can create a special guest network that is separate from your own network. Before visitors can use this, they register via Facebook or a special login page. In this way you keep track of network usage and prevent unwanted people from gaining access to your company network.

Power supply and mounting
The TP-Link EAP265 HD has 2 Gigabit LAN ports and supports both 802.3af PoE and passive PoE. This means that you can power the access point via the network cable (using a PoE switch or the included PoE injector) and therefore also place the device in environments where there is no socket available. The EAP265 has a flat design and can be mounted on a wall or ceiling with the included mounting system.
