Productinformatie

The TP-Link TL-SG3428X is an advanced switch with 24 Gigabit RJ45 ports and 4 SFP+ ports. The TP-Link offers non-blocking switch functionalities and has a switching capacity of 128Gbps. Thanks to this high switching capacity, the switch can optimize and significantly increase the throughput of your network.

Compatible with Omada SDN
With the Omada SDN firmware it is possible to manage this switch remotely via the Omada SDN Cloud portal. Via one clear dashboard you have insight into the status of the network and you can, among other things, change settings and detect problems. Because the network can be managed from different locations via the cloud, this saves a lot of time and costs. If you also use other equipment with Omada SDN support, you can manage your entire network via this platform. You only need a local hardware controller (TP-Link Omada SDN OC200) or software controller for this.

L2 functionalities
This switch from TP-Link supports numerous L2 functionalities, including 802.1Q tag VLAN, Port Isolation, Port Mirroring and 802.3 Flow Control. There are also functions to maintain the network, such as Loop Back Detection and IGMP Snooping. IGMP snooping ensures that a multicast stream is only forwarded to the correct devices. With IGMP throttling and filtering you prevent the stream from going to unauthorized devices, which you can easily set per port.

Comprehensive network security
With the TP-Link TL-SG3428X, your network is extremely secure. For example, the switch applies functions such as IP-MAC Port Binding, Port Security and DHCP Snooping. The Access Control Lists (ACL, L2 to L4) feature protects your network data by blocking packets based on MAC address, IP address, TCP/UDP ports and VLAN ID. In addition, the switch supports 802.1X, which identifies network users through remote Radius servers. With the guest VLAN feature, non-802.1X users cannot enter the general network and can only access the guest network.

Quality of Service
This switch has Quality of Service support. This means that you can give priority to certain data streams through Port Priority, 802.1P Priority and DSCP Priority. For example, you can indicate that voice and video applications have priority over standard internet traffic. This prevents delays from occurring during telephone conversations or when playing video images.

Management via GUI or CLI
If you are not going to use this TP-Link switch in combination with Omada SDN, you can also opt for stand-alone management. You then manage the switch via the web-based Graphical User Interface (GUI), the Command Line Interface (CLI), SNMP or RMON. Also view the status per port or keep an eye on the data traffic.
