The AC7048 Triple 4K Monitor Docking Station turns your Windows laptop or MacBook into a
complete workstation by connecting
a single USB-C cable. With DisplayLink technology, both Windows and Apple
computers can be expanded with up to three 4K screens. The docking station
is equipped with a Gigabit LAN port, 5 USB ports, 1 USB-C port and
microphone and headphone jack. The docking station comes with
a 135W power adapter. This power adapter supplies the AC7048 with power and
charges the connected laptop with up to 100W. The ACT USB-C Triple 4K
Docking Station meets all requirements of the DisplayLink Certified Logo
Program.
Turn a Windows laptop or MacBook into a complete workstation with one
USB-C cable
This docking station offers the complete package for turning your
laptop into a complete workstation by connecting a single USB-C cable to
your laptop. Connect up to three* 4K monitors (max. resolution 4096x2160p @ 60Hz)
to the HDMI or DisplayPort ports. The docking station is equipped with a
Gigabit LAN network port, a microphone jack and a
headphone jack. The AC7048 adds 6 extra USB ports to the
laptop: five USB-A ports and one USB-C port.
DisplayLink technology: extend the desktop of MacOS and Windows computers
The AC7048 docking station has an integrated DisplayLink chip. The
computer's desktop can be extended with up to three extra
screens. In total, there are 4 different views: 1x laptop, 3x monitor. The
DisplayLink technology works with any Windows or MacOS computer with
USB-C support.
The DisplayLink technology offers a stable solution for expanding
the laptop by using a chipset.
Charge the laptop with max. 100W via the docking station
The docking station comes with a 135W power adapter. The power adapter
powers the docking station itself and can also charge the connected laptop
with a maximum of 100W. It is not necessary to connect a separate laptop power supply. The laptop is charged via the USB-C connection cable. Therefore, it is
important that the laptop supports charging via USB-C.
Extra functions
Use the on/off button on the AC7048 to switch the docking station and all connected peripherals on or off in one go. The USB-C/A ports
are all USB 3.2 Gen1 data ports with a maximum transfer speed of
5Gbps. Connect USB peripherals or charge a laptop or tablet. It is also
possible to connect a microphone and headphones to the 3.5mm
audio ports. The AC7048 comes with a USB-C to USB-A adapter. This allows the docking station to be used with a laptop that only has a USB-A port. Please note that the Power Delivery
passthrough function does not work in combination with USB-A. The laptop requires a separate power adapter. In addition, USB-A supports connecting up to two
monitors.
