The Eaton 3P Ellipse 550VA IEC UPS is your silent and compact power backup for home or small office environments. Thanks to the line-interactive technology with automatic voltage regulation (AVR) it corrects mains voltage fluctuations within 184–264V (adjustable to 161–284V), so that the battery only becomes active in the event of an actual failure. In the event of an emergency, the UPS delivers a pure sine wave of 230V to protect sensitive hardware.
The device is designed in a slim tower housing (81×235×263mm, 3kg), almost silent (<25dB) thanks to the fanless design. For ease of use, there is a bright LED display that shows status, load and battery life.
On the back, you will find one IEC C14 input and four IEC C13 outputs: three with battery and surge protection, and one for surge only — handy for peripherals. In the box, you will find two IEC–IEC cables, a USB cable, manual and safety instructions — you are ready to go.
Internally, there is one front-replaceable VRLA battery (12V/4.5Ah) with automatic self-tests, deep discharge protection and cold-start function (starts without mains power).
