The Eaton 5SC 500VA UPS is a quiet, compact tower UPS specially designed for power protection of small servers, switches, NAS and workstations. Thanks to the line-interactive topology, including automatic conversion (buck/boost), it corrects voltage fluctuations within 184–276V, so that the battery is only used in the event of a real failure. In the event of a power failure, it delivers a pure sine wave output of 230V, which is crucial for sensitive equipment.
The device has an LCD display that allows you to read the status, load, battery life and runtime at a glance. The USB port (HID compliant) and serial RS‑232 port allow you to easily integrate the UPS with Eaton’s Intelligent Power Protector software and set up automatic safe shutdowns.
With one IEC C14 input and four IEC C13 outputs you can connect multiple devices simultaneously. The battery is maintenance-free and front-replaceable. Eaton’s ABM battery management extends life by approximately 50%, and automatic self-tests prevent deep discharges.
