De ioBOX 100HD heeft dezelfde hardware en software als de succesvolle en bekende Popcorn Hour A-110. U kunt met de ioBOX 100HD dan ook exact hetzelfde, dus NZB's downloaden, extra software installeren (zie www.networkedmediatank.com) etc.
De behuizing van de ioBOX is kwalitatief wel een stuk robuuster dan die van de Popcorn Hour A-110.
