The Iomega® StorCenter™ ix4-300d, Network Storage 4-bay stores, protects and shares all of your important files, locally and remotely with cloud convenience -- perfect for small offices, workgroups or advanced home networks.  Based on enterprise-class EMC® storage technology, the StorCenter ix4-300d provides easy file sharing, iSCSI block access, and multiple RAID configurations for optimized data protection. Iomega Personal Cloud technology offers unparalleled simplicity and versatility for data sharing and protection from outside of the office – and is self-owned. Protecting your home or business has never been easier than with StorCenter’s built-in MindTree® SecureMind™ software (1 camera license included).  Business users will appreciate the robust data protection features such as UPS support, print serving, folder quotas, rsync device-to-device data replication, and user replaceable drives for business continuity and disaster recovery. The easy-to-use interface provides no-hassle management. Active Directory support and remote access round out the comprehensive business features. Home users benefit from the advanced media features such as the DLNA® certified UPnP® AV Media Server, PTP (Picture Transfer Protocol), torrent download compatibility. PC and Mac client backup software is included along with RSA® BSAFE® encryption for protected installs and upgrades. Iomega Personal Cloud Backup: Synchronize data between personal cloud member systems and the ix4-300d

EMC Atmos Cloud Connector: The Atmos Connector software lets a user backup and share data using Iomega devices as the source and Atmos cloud technology as the target. Enabled by Iomega's integrated copyjob utility, customers can set up cloud folders and configure jobs to automatically copy data to any Atmos cloud

Configuration Backup and Restore: allows you to back up and restore system configuration information. Backing up a configuration saves various system properties, including users, groups, device identification, multi-device setup and Share names and permissions

Data organization and access: Windows DFS organizes folders and files on a network, such that they appear to be all in one directory tree on a single Iomega StorCenter system, even if the folders reside on many devices in many different locations. WebDAV (Web-based Distributed Authoring and Versioning) enables viewing, adding, or deleting files on a StorCenter from the web, via HTTP or HTTPS for added security.
