The Ubiquiti EdgeSwitch is the ideal switch to expand your business network. The managed switch provides a power budget of 500 watts spread over 48 PoE (Power over Ethernet) Gigabit ports. Because these ports are auto-sensing, they automatically adjust the speed on the network. The 2 SFP ports are suitable for fiber optic connections and support uplinks with a maximum speed of 1 Gbps. This switch also has 2 SFP + ports that support a speed of 10 Gbps. Because this is a layer 3 switch, the switch has router options in addition to layer 2 switching and protocols.
802.3af/at detection
The EdgeSwitch automatically detects 802.3af/at devices. This allows these devices to receive automatic PoE. The 24V passive PoE devices are configured using the clear Edge Switch configuration interface.
User interface
Thanks to the EdgeSwitch configuration interface, it is extremely easy to manage all ports. The interface is therefore also suitable for people with little technical knowledge. It is possible to access multiple switches, so you can manage switches from different locations from one central point. You can also read the status per port and set any VLANs.
