The UDR-5G-Max is a desktop Cloud Gateway that combines 5G connectivity, WiFi 7, and UniFi’s full application suite into one powerful system. Thanks to 5G speeds of up to 3.4 Gbps and the 10G SFP+ WAN port, the device offers a fast and stable internet connection, even when fiber or cable is not available. You manage more than 30 UniFi devices and multiple Protect cameras, while the built-in WiFi 7 access point supports up to 300 users simultaneously.
The gateway features a 4-port 2.5 GbE switch, including one PoE port for powering a UniFi device. The advanced security features, such as a stateful firewall, content filtering, DPI, and more than 20,000 IDS/IPS signatures via CyberSecure, ensure optimal network protection. For VPN, the UDR-5G-Max supports WireGuard, OpenVPN, IPsec, Teleport, and Site Magic.
The device is equipped with a 4.7" touchscreen and integrated microSD storage, allowing UniFi Protect to be used immediately for small camera installations. Due to the combination of 5G uplink, WiFi 7, 10G WAN, and SD-WAN, the UDR-5G-Max is suitable for both home networks and business environments where high performance and reliability are required.
