The 8GB Exascend Essential-X DDR4 U-DIMM is an unbuffered long DIMM (U-DIMM) for use as main memory in desktops, PCs and servers, among others. 8GB is a common choice for everyday use on desktops and workstations.
The module runs at 3200MT/s (1600MHz clock) and at the JEDEC standard voltage of 1.2V. It is built with DDR4 SDRAM in FBGA packages on a 288-pin printed circuit board and has a 4Kbit serial EEPROM for SPD. The module also supports on-die termination (ODT), a bi-directional differential data strobe, 8-bit prefetch and asynchronous reset. The module is RoHS compliant.
