De Exascend Essential-X 4GB DDR4 SO-DIMM is een unbuffered geheugenmodule (Small Outline Dual In-Line Memory Module) die je gebruikt als werkgeheugen in onder meer laptops, mobiele pc's en micro-servers. Deze 4GB-variant is geschikt voor basistaken of als aanvulling op bestaand geheugen.
De module werkt op 3200MT/s (1600MHz klok) met de JEDEC-standaardspanning van 1,2V. Hij is opgebouwd uit DDR4 SDRAM-chips in FBGA-behuizing op een 260-pins printplaat en heeft een 4Kbit serial EEPROM voor SPD. Verder ondersteunt de module on-die termination (ODT), een bi-directionele differentiële data-strobe, 8-bit prefetch en asynchrone reset. De module is RoHS-conform.
